“Hey! Hey! Calm down, Miss!” the blond before him said, waving his hands trying to think of ways on how he could calm the screaming femme in front of him. “Please! You might get the management on my ass! Miss, please don’t shout!!”
“Who on earth are you!?” Bou screamed, not minding what he said before, “Why on earth am I naked?! Just so you know, if you come any closer to me, I know kung fu and I’m not going to hesitate using my karate kicks on your face if you try to do... do... try to do what you already did to me again!”
Because he was panicking and was in between going mental, Bou didn’t really understand what he was talking about. But all he knows is, he was naked inside a hotel room and he obviously didn’t know how he ended here. He already has his hands positioned as if he really was going to do his so called “kung fu” moves.
“What do you mean by that?!” the tall guy before him looked at Bou incredulously, then he had a hand on his chest “Just so you know, if it wasn’t for me, you might’ve been... I don’t know, kidnapped or raped last night!”
“Eh?!” the cross dresser replied not believing a word from the other’s mouth, “You expect to believe that, especially when I’m...” he trailed with a glare with a hand pointing at his covered form.
“What?! Oh... you mean, that” the tall blond boy said, rolling his eyes, “Just so you know, I did not in anyway get to see parts of your anatomy. I’m not exactly a sucker for cross dressers, just so you know”
Bou felt a bolt of lightning strike him from nowhere as he heard those words escape the other blonde’s lips.
“On the contrary, dear” the old woman from before stepped in holding up Bou’s used uniform, “I think I’m the reason why you’re the way you are right now”
Bou’s jaw dropped, he didn’t know what to say. The puzzle just didn’t seem to fit and now that he thinks about it, if he was indeed molested in anyway sexual he should’ve be feeling pain right? But his ass didn’t hurt when he sat on neither it, nor his... Well, you get the point, apart from the small weary feeling draping over his body, he didn’t feel any ache of sorts.
He put his hands to his hair, “Can anyone please explain to me what is going on? I am so confused!”
“Okay, I will explain if you promise to stop screaming and overreacting”
“How do you expect me not to overact when I wake up to find myself-?”
“Please, I haven’t even started yet and you’re already running a mile by just talking!” the blond before him said, “Look, let’s introduce each other first, it be very awkward if I keep calling you just ‘you’. My name is Maya”
“I’m Bou” and then Bou almost regretted it, “Wait... you don’t in anyway know a girl named Nana?”
“Huh?” the other looked at him confused.
“Really pretty girl with nice body and expensive... Never mind” the femme said, as he realized the puzzlement in his ‘saviour’s’ seemed a bit too good to be fake.
“Whatever, I don’t know any girl with a number for a name” the now named Maya boy replied, raising his eyebrows and rolled his eyes. He sighed before sitting down at the edge of the blonde’s bed. To this, the cross dresser reacted a bit by shifting a little away from the other.
“I’m sorry, but I think I need to leave now” the woman before said, breaking their small ‘conversation’, “I need to get the little... Miss’ clothes clean before she...uh... she can get to use them”
Bou wanted to let out a small laugh, but kept it to himself. A person who knows about him for the first time usually has the trouble with pronouns with him.
“Yeah, oba-san, thanks for everything!” Maya said, smiling at her as she walked out of the room. The door opened and closed and then that’s when Bou and Maya knew they were alone. Maya turned to look at Bou, his lips curling a bit in distaste, “You know, you never did get to thank her for-”
“Oh man... I totally forgot!” the femme said, slapping himself on the forehead, “I am such a ditz, and she even went to the trouble of getting taking care of me! I’m so dumb!”
“Oh don’t worry, I bet she understands” Maya shrugged his shoulders, “I guess if I was in your position in, I’d be a bit surprised... and scared too. Waking up being surrounded by complete strangers”
“Yeah, I did overreact there a bit, didn’t I?” this Maya person wasn’t as bad the femme first thought him out to be. It was just the strangeness of the situation just made him go crazy and say things he usually would filter in his mind first before saying. He bowed his head a bit, “I’m really, really sorry! I wish there was something I could do to make it up for being such an idiot!”
“Oh don’t worry” Maya leaned forward, his face set in a predatory expression and he patted softly on the bed, “Now that Oba-san is gone, a little compensation wouldn’t be bad-”
“What! I knew it, you are a pervert!” Bou screeched as he pushed the other away as far from as possible, the chagrin from before pumping through his blood as a big fat vein throbbed on his head.
“Hey, hey!” Maya laughed a bit, recovering from falling on the floor after Bou’s attack on him, “I was just joking! I told you, I’m not a big fan of cross dressers... even though you’re kind of making me consider my preference-”
“And I wasn’t joking when I said I am going to karate chop your head off if you think you’re going to try and get between my legs!”
“Fine, fine! I’ll lay off on the jokes; it was kind of gross anyway” Maya laughed again, “You really get irritated easily don’t you? Makes me think of that Ore-sama guy who goes to the bar me and my friend would hang out, except you’re cuter than that weirdo with his tattoos and metal!”
“Ore-sama... Oh shit!” it was then that Bou remembered the events last night. “I was supposed to be with Miyavi last night! Oh my god-”
“Huh? Woah... you just called the guy by his na-” Maya exclaimed, and then it suddenly hit him “Don’t tell me you’re the girl everyone was talking about last night! You’re... oh shit, you’re not the ore-sama’s girlfriend?!”
“I would be happy if people just drop the word girlfriend from their sentences, I still haven’t grown anywhere near fond of it just yet” Bou then added, if Miyavi would get this he’s going to be having a field day knowing the blond did worry about him “Wait, were you there last night? At the bar? Did you know what happened to Miyavi? I know something bad had happened! Oh man, if those girls just didn’t trick me into drinking or if I just wasn’t such an asshole when Miyavi was just being-”
“Hey, girly toes, wait! Just hold up and rewind!”
“Girly toes?” the cross dresser gave the other a questioning look.
“Look, I’m a bit at a lost here, but forget about that, you’re the ore-sama’s girlfriend?”
“I told you! Don’t use that word please!” Bou said, and then he had to add in a voice that seemed ashamed of the fact “And yes... I kind of am, that’s not the point here!”
“Yes it is!” Maya said, suddenly shifting away from Bou, “Do you know what that guy will do to me if he thinks I even touched you?!”
“Oh come on!” Bou rolled his eyes, “He won’t do anything to you, I promise!”
“You sure?” Maya asked, a bit suspicious, though he didn’t really have a choice since either way if he gets the person before him even near upset he might as well start planning for his funeral.
“I’m not like those other people! I won’t let Miyavi hurt anyone, just as long as you tell me what happened last night” the blond reassured the other blond. “Please, just tell me, i need to know if anything wrong or serious happened! Miyavi and I had a fight, and I... and I said really mean things to him and... We’re not on good terms. I’m just worried about him, okay? I just want to make sure that there really wasn’t a brawl or anything, because I don’t want to hear Miyavi getting hurt or-”
“Yeah, there was a fight last night but I wasn’t sure if the ore-sama was there” Maya said, tagging along growing a bit of concern himself after hearing Bou’s voice, “I just arrived late, since I was supposed to meet one of my friends at a another place but he never showed up-”
“There was a fight? Oh no, I hope Miyavi is okay... if he gets hurt it’s going to be my fault” Bou buried his face in his hands, “I was hopeless, I was such a total bastard! I keep ruining everything for him when he was just trying to be nice to me and show me his friends”
“Um... if it’s any consolation” Maya didn’t actually know what to say, he was first and foremost scared because the girl or femme before him was actually related to one of the top dogs. What’s worst, he happens to be his koibito! “I bet he’s okay, um....” for added caring effect the other patted the person before him on the head, hoping this might help him feel a bit better- and get him off of Miyavi’s list of people to kill.
“I’m just worried, that’s all... I’ve never been so worried about someone I barely even know!” Bou said, taking his face off his hands and that’s when Maya saw the tears falling from the blonde’s eyes. It seemed that the blond hasn’t really noticed that he was crying until Maya pointed out the water that was slowly spilling from the other’s orbs.
“Oh man... what is wrong with me” Bou shook his head, wiping his face with the back of his hands. “This is just not me! I’m stronger than this!”
“Hey, girly toes, come here, it doesn’t hurt to cry you know?” Maya said, putting his arms around the petite cross dresser he almost felt bad for the one before him, “I bet Miyavi’s okay, he’s such an asshole and a good fighter, I don’t think anyone can just knock him down... even if he does look like a stick figure”
“I don’t know, it’s just I’m not used to this kinds of things” Bou started, shaking his head as he looked down, “This whole thing is as new to me as is it to him, I know as much as he does and it’s not much. And all the things he had to put up through... He had to fucking adjust to me while all I could think about was going home and being selfish”
“Well... um, I guess if you put it that way, I bet he understands. I don’t know what to tell you but I can tell you that maybe if.... ore-sama loves you I know he’ll understand, right? ” the tall teen smiled, “And besides, I myself am kind not exactly a big fan of those parties anyway, I would totally understand why you wouldn’t want to stay long, those people are complete bitches! Total plastics with no life at all”
“I just hope he doesn’t get mad because I really don’t want him to get angry or... or feel bad or anything” the blond said, he seemed to have a habit of telling complete strangers his life stories. He shook his head, first it was Doiha now it’s this other boy. He should be ashamed of himself, he smiled sadly; Miku is so going to have his head if he ever finds out.
Bou laughed a bit.
“Hey, laughing already?” the tall blond asked him, his face lighting with a small smile too.
“I just seem to have a habit of telling people I don’t even know about what’s wrong with my life... I mean, I don’t really want to make it a habit... but you know, I’m just so” the blond shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes, “Emotional”
“Ha, it isn’t so bad, you just need somewhere to vent” Maya nodded, “Whenever I get drunk, I end up telling all my problems to people I met! Sometimes people who have nothing to say are the best people to talk to, since they won’t judge you or they won’t tell you what to do. Not like your best friend or your parents or anyone who knows what you’re going through”
The petite blond nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly to what the boy told him.
“So, are we okay?” Maya asked, pushing Bou to an arm’s length so he can look at the cross dresser properly.
“Yeah, I guess... I feel so weak” the blond shook his head, “You must think I’m so weird right now...”
“Well, you being the ore-sama’s girlfriend” the taller blond replied truthfully, “I don’t think I even have the right to say anything against you”
“I told you! Please don’t use that word with me!” Bou punched the other’s arm.
Maya flinched, clutching his arm rubbing at the sore spot where Bou had hit him, “You really aren’t a girl!”

Apparently, one of the reasons the old woman knows Maya so well was that he usually frequents that bar that Bou went to last night. And usually, when he was too stoned to go home on his own, his friends would check him in here for the night. Because of all the times she had to take of the young blond, Maya almost saw the old woman as close to a mother figure. And apparently, Maya wasn’t the only person who would find himself in the old woman’s care.
Other people who likes that bar and who are unable to go home- for the same reason as Maya- would also find themselves under that woman. It seems like she doesn’t mind doing this extra bit of watching over drunken little teenagers.
But then Bou has this feeling the woman get paid extra to watch over every drunk that stumbles in the hotel.
“Thank you so much for all the things you did for me!” Bou said, bowing down in front of the old lady from before, finally wearing his uniform. “I’m sorry for being so loud this morning! I hope I didn’t bother you, and I’m so sorry for being such a bother”
“Oh, don’t worry, Miss!” the old woman said, feeling comfortable using girlie pronouns and such with Bou, “It was nothing, I had to take far worst people, you’re better off than most of the ones I had to meet with my job”
“Hey, you’re better than me with a hangover!” Maya chimed in, a shoulder over the old woman.
“Oh yes, far better than him!” the small oba-san said, “You just don’t know how he is in the morning, always crying and always looking for his mother! Did you know he eve-”
“Now... oba-san!” Maya laughed nervously, “I don’t think our friend here really needs to know any of that!”
They exchanged a few more words before Maya brought Bou down and out of the hotel; Bou once again bowed and showed his unending joy at being taken care of. He walked with the blond, even until the park, accompanied him to go get a taxi. And while they walked, they talked.
“So... how did you find me last night?” Bou asked, feeling rather awkward. He really needs to know, what if someone else did something funny to him. Next thing he knows, he’ll be in some pedophile website. And there was that Nana person, he should be careful next time. He knew there was something wrong, but against his better judgement he still went with her anyway. But that because he was kind of worried about Miyavi and she seemed really nice.
“I don’t remember much, but man were you wasted” the tall blond said, his hands in his pockets, “You were all alone in a table, sleeping and snoring”
“Snore?!” Bou gasped, “I do not snore!”
“Well, you did when I found you” Maya snickered, “Anyway, I felt sorry for you and you looked so cute...”
“Oh so you were planning to do things to me!” Bou said, putting his hands on his hips as he looked heatedly at the other.
“I’m sorry, but I’m not the one who looks like some Lolita freak’s wet dream, okay?” the taller blond replied, “But at least I didn’t do anything to you, and I saved you too before anyone could. I deserve some credit for that”
“Okay, fine” Bou said, smiling a bit. It was this that his hand felt for his rest unconsciously that he stopped moving. He gripped his wrist, his eyes went wide in shock as he felt nothing but his flesh beneath his hand. “Fuck... no”
“Hey, what’s up...?” Maya asked as he realized his friend stopped moving, “You look drained, what’s wrong?”
“My bracelet!” Bou started patting his pockets, gripped his other wrist in hopes that he might have just overlooked it. He tried to search in his bag, but nothing came out, “Where is my bracelet! I was wearing it last night! It can’t be gone! It can’t be gone!”
“Calm down, don’t worry, maybe Oba-san has it?” Maya suggested, actually looking inside Bou’s bag, trying to look for a trinket he has never seen before.
“Did you see me wear a bracelet last night?” the petite one asked the other, making sure that he was wearing it.
“I don’t really know... If you did wear a bracelet, I wouldn’t have really noticed actually...”
“I need to look for it, Maya!” Bou said exasperatedly, “That bracelet means a lot to me, it was a gift from Miyavi... Oh god, why am I such a klutz! I ruined everything for him last night and then here I am loosing the most precious thing he has!”
“Come on, Bou” Maya said, tugging at the blonde’s hand, “Maybe it’s with oba-san, okay? Don’t worry, that woman’s very honest! The last time I got knocked out and my friends bought me here, she made sure that I get all my stuff. She might have it right now and just forget to give it to you”
They walked back all the way to the hotel, Bou clutching heavily at his chest trying to calm down his heart. The one that was beating all too fast and was ready to jump out of his chest, he couldn’t forgive himself if he lost the bracelet. He knows how much it meant to Miyavi. For him to be so careless!
69696969696
When they went back, the old woman just looked at them a bit puzzled. She didn’t notice any bracelet, but just to prove to them her query, she showed them where she would always keep the things of the kids she has to take care of. They found a cell phone, a wallet that a girl never bothered picking up and a ring. But there was no bracelet in the stack.
Bou went crazy and looked around, tried his best to not rip out everything his hand touched. He was just so frustrated and angry at everything. How could he tell Miyavi this? How could he show his face to Miyavi now that he lost the one thing that bonded them?
After turning the room upside down, Bou just sank to his knees, buried his face in his hands and cried.
69696969696
The first thing he did when he got kicked out was look for bomb shell; surely the blond wasn’t that far away?
He spent most of the night worried, nursing a bruised jaw as he tried to everything he can to make sure that his bomb shell was okay. He called people, had someone stake out just to make sure nothing bad happens to the blond. He even went as far as going to the blonde’s apartment, only to realize that the blond hasn’t gotten home and that when Miku realized that Bou was lost the brunette started panicking and tried to call his friend on the phone.
Miyavi had to tell him off, because he already tried that and all he got was an electric female voice telling him the usual message of a cell phone that might be out coverage.
Bou’s best friend tagged along, in his pyjamas, pulling at a jacket as he followed Miyavi. The brunette was really worried about his roommate, and Miyavi very much admired that show of loyalty.
They cruised around, asking people near and far if they saw someone like Bou. Most of which just shook their heads, there was another girl though. She seemed a bit on the influence, but she did offer bit of information- though Miyavi had to shake her like crazy. Miku had to calm Miyavi down, just to keep the girl from getting a heart attack.
She did say something about being with a blond girl, wearing a school uniform- describing in lazy detail the design of Holy Garden’s clothes. But in the end, it was useless, as most of the information she said didn’t really matter.
Miyavi didn’t know how to react. He was stunned; he didn’t know what to say. But what else was there to say anyway? Seeing something like this; his mind went blank and all he could think was how much of an idiot he must’ve been. Really. He really was so stupid, going through so much and doing all those things.
But it wasn’t like Bou wanted it; it wasn’t like Bou wanted him.
The blond reminded him of the fact so many times, and each time Miyavi would always feel so angry and so... upset. That was why Miyavi tried his best to stay calm, tried to follow his sister’s advice even though he wasn’t like that.
He wanted to prove Bou wrong, wanted to show the petite cross dresser that they could be together. That he could somehow love Miyavi anyway.
But what he saw tore at his heart so bad, he almost felt like dying. He almost felt someone decided to rip his chest open and play with his heart. He almost felt the blood pouring out of his chest and into his hands.
He was so stupid for even trying.
He was so stupid for even thinking.
He was so stupid for even falling.
He was so stupid for doing all these things.
It was early morning when he got it, Miyavi let Miku sleep in his mansion, the brunette snoring in his slumber land slouching on the couch in the library with his mouth all wide open with a small line of drool slipping. A servant came in, carrying a big brown envelope, no return address just his Ore-sama title all scrawled over in the front.
Even then, he felt his hands shake. Felt if he looked what was inside he knows he wasn’t going to like the contents. There was that sinister aura that oozed from the envelope; he doesn’t know why he felt that way. He doesn’t know why his fingers were trembling when he first opened the thing.
He took a peek at his boyfriend’s roommate, made sure he was still trapped in his realm of dream. True enough, Miku still hasn’t stirred from his sleep.
It killed him, the pictures, it killed him.
It reached out for his chest, wrapped their dirty fingers around his heart and it ripped it out.
He felt his world topple, his head spinning at first that he had to find some sort of hold just to keep from falling. He had to reach for the table, his brain trying to process what he was seeing before him. He had to sit down and think.
But it hurt so badly. It so much he feel like he was close to dying, his throat seemed so dry that if he even let out one word he might as well just choke on it. Everything he does, anything he does, they might kill him.
Thinking alone made him want to...
He pushed them back hastily, trying to take away the poison from his head.
“I love him, I love Bou” Miyavi tried to say.
Even saying those words seemed close to suicide.
A/N: (The note that’s hell longer than the story itself xD)
Be thankful someone like
rinhriveiel who said the words I needed to hear just to get the gears of my writing hand moving.
I know a bit short over there, but I hope you still want to read this! I’m terribly sorry for not writing for the last... MONTHS! I told you guys I don’t want to abandon this story, regardless if people will like to read it or how busy I am. This is just... something I really want to reach twenty chapters or something. xD
